How to Perform Cable Upright Row
Attach a straight bar to a low pulley on a cable machine and stand facing it with your feet shoulder-width apart. Grab the bar with an overhand grip slightly narrower than shoulder width. Keeping your chest up and core engaged, pull the bar upward along your torso by driving your elbows up and out to the sides. Lift until the bar reaches roughly chest height or until your elbows are level with your shoulders. Pause briefly at the top, then slowly lower the bar back to the starting position with control. Avoid using momentum and keep the movement smooth throughout the exercise.
