How to Perform Spin Bike

The spin bike is a stationary cycling machine designed for high-intensity cardio workouts that simulate outdoor cycling. To use it, adjust the seat and handlebars so that your knees have a slight bend at the bottom of each pedal stroke and your upper body remains comfortable and upright. Secure your feet in the pedals and begin pedaling at a steady pace, keeping your core engaged and your back neutral. Use the resistance knob to increase or decrease the difficulty, simulating flat roads, hills, or sprint intervals. Maintain smooth, circular pedal strokes rather than pushing straight down on the pedals. Spin biking primarily targets the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves, while also engaging the core and significantly improving cardiovascular endurance and lower-body strength.
