How to Perform Running

Running is a high-impact cardiovascular exercise that improves endurance, burns calories, and strengthens the lower body. To perform it, start with a light jog and gradually increase your pace to a comfortable running speed. Maintain an upright posture with your head facing forward, shoulders relaxed, and arms bent at about 90 degrees, swinging naturally alongside your body. Focus on landing softly on the midfoot and keeping your stride smooth and controlled rather than overstriding. Engage your core to stabilize your torso and keep a steady breathing rhythm throughout the run. Running primarily works the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves, while also engaging the core and significantly improving cardiovascular fitness, stamina, and overall athletic performance
