How to Perform Power Clean

Stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart and position the barbell on the floor in front of you. Grip the bar with an overhand grip slightly wider than shoulder-width. Bend at the hips and knees while keeping your chest up and your back neutral. Drive through your legs and extend your hips explosively, pulling the bar upward close to your body. As the bar reaches chest height, quickly rotate your elbows under the bar and catch it on the front of your shoulders in the front rack position while bending your knees slightly. Stand upright to finish the movement before lowering the bar back to the floor.
