How to Perform Tricep Pushdown Bar
Attach a straight bar to a high pulley on a cable machine. Stand facing the machine and grip the bar with an overhand grip about shoulder-width apart. Keep your elbows tucked close to your sides and your upper arms stationary. Starting with the bar around chest height, extend your arms downward by pushing the bar toward your thighs until your arms are fully straight. Squeeze your triceps briefly at the bottom, then slowly return the bar to the starting position while maintaining control. Avoid letting your elbows flare out or using your shoulders to move the weight.
