How to Perform Dumbbell Incline Bench Press

Sit on an incline bench set at an angle of approximately 30–45 degrees holding a dumbbell in each hand resting on your thighs. Lie back on the bench and bring the dumbbells to shoulder height with your palms facing forward. This is the starting position. Press the dumbbells upward in a controlled motion until your arms are fully extended but not locked while breathing out. Pause briefly at the top of the movement, squeezing your chest. Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position while breathing in. Repeat for the recommended amount of repetitions.
