How to Perform Decline Chest Fly

Lie on a decline bench holding a dumbbell in each hand with your arms extended above your chest and your palms facing each other. Keep a slight bend in your elbows and lower the dumbbells outward in a wide arc toward the sides of your chest. Continue lowering until you feel a stretch in your chest while maintaining control. Bring the dumbbells back together above your chest by squeezing your chest muscles, following the same arc. Maintain a controlled tempo throughout the movement.
